You are called

This is my last Esther post but I wanted to put the finishing touches on what the Lord taught me through studying Esther again.

Let’s just start with what we know Esther shows us. God called Esther for a purpose and God has called each us for a purpose. He has created each of us for a specific purpose. He has called you to be the wife to your husband, to be the mother of your precious kids. He has placed you where you are because you are needed, you were created to be part of His plan right where you are. Esther was created for a purpose. Who knew she would be used to step in and save her people from death. Esther had no idea God was guiding her to do what she would do. He was divinely guiding her every step for His purpose, His end result (Proverbs 16:9 We can make our plans but the Lord determines our steps).

So think…..God is calling you to something….What can you do to take a step closer to that call? We may not know or understand the end result but we can trust our God that He is guiding us when we are seeking Him (Proverbs 20:24 How can we understand the road we travel? It is the Lord who directs our steps).

When we begin and take that step, next the Lord will prepare us. Remember, even before Esther could go before the king for the first time she had to go through a year of beauty treatments. Even that was part of her preparation. Be willing to go through the preparation. Whatever God asks you to do, be willing. Through this season of preparation God will test our security to make sure we are placing our security in the right one. We must trust God enough that we get to a point we will do anything for God. I remember there was a moment in my life I realized this and I told the Lord that I would be a fool for Him. I meant whatever He asked me to do I would do it even if I felt stupid, not equipped, or nervous. When I felt the Lord to tell me to write and start a blog I couldn’t believe it because I knew I couldn’t do what He was asking me but I knew if I was a willing vessel He would work through me. So any word I write I pray it’s His words. We must know who we are, whose we are and trust God with all we are.

Ask yourself, Do I trust God enough to be a fool for him? Are you ready to fully trust God??

What is God asking you to do? Go ahead and take that step. It will be worth it! Esther acted, she stepped in on behalf of the Jews and saved her people. She interceded for her people. She had no idea how God would do it but she trusted Him enough. Any situation can look hopeless but I can guarantee you no situation is hopeless with God. Any situation or outcome can be changed when we turn it over and trust the Lord.

So my encouragement for us all is to do your part, be like Esther. Step in, intercede, pray and trust God. God trumps all. He will make a way. Don’t always believe what is seen. God is always working in the unseen, have faith. Through your faith God will bring about change, healing or whatever you need.

So even if a situation looks hopeless, keep praying, pray until. Seek the Lord through prayer and fasting, he is waiting for someone with faith to step in. Esther was obedient to what God asked her to do and God was faithful to do what He does.

Will you be a woman of faith? God is waiting on you. Be brave enough to be an Esther, believe, and you will see the miraculous work of the Lord.

Remember……You are called, you are chosen “For such a time as this”

Esther 4:14 And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this.
