20/20 Vision

Who doesn’t want perfect vision. Years ago I had laser surgery to correct my blurred vision. I was 20/20 after it, no more glasses, yay! Over the years slowly my vision has gotten a little worse and this past year I had to get some glasses to wear at times when my eyes get tired of straining. I can still get 20/20 vision but I need some help at this point.

This is the same with our spiritual eyesight, we need help to see correctly. We need the Lord’s help to have Kingdom vision. I want a clear vision spiritually. I want to see as He does but I know I must depend on God for that. I’ve tried myself and I end up straining and trying but “I” can’t get spiritual eyes on my own. I know I must keep my eyes on Him for this. We, christians, need to be able to see things for what they really are.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Eph. 6:12

On the Damascus Road Saul found himself blind. Three days later something like scales fell from his eyes. From that point on he had spiritual eyes. He saw things for what they really were. After that he was on fire for Jesus! Teaching, preaching and proclaiming Jesus is the way! We each need that fire in us! We need more Christians with spiritual eyesight! Join me in praying for an increase in 2020. Lord, give us an increase of your Spirit, increase our eyesight, give us a 2020 vision. Lord, let the scales of spiritual blindness fall from our eyes. Amen!

Blessings,

Michelle
