I saw this add the other day with this little girl standing back watching. It says, “The next generation depends on you. Lead by example.” My goodness, how true is this? There will always be someone watching. If you have kids, they are watching. My kids are at an age where I can see my actions in them so much. Some good, some bad. It’s eye opening when you see yourself in them. Just know what your doing is making an impact on the people around you.

It matters how we live and how we lead.

In Hebrews 11, the Bible gives us so many examples of leaders we can follow. Each of these people were not perfect and made mistakes in their life but what we know is that all these had faith, they trusted God. It’s says they were all living by faith when they died. They were faithful to God to the end because they knew He was always faithful. Even though some of them never saw the promise come to fruition they knew God’s Word was always good. It’s their faith at the end that made them stand out. It’s our faith and how we live it out that will make the biggest impact on our kids and on those around us.

I want to lead a life others will find worth following.

Let’s live like faithful people, obedient to God’s Word. Faithful to the end.
