“And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.” Matthew‬ ‭9:20-22‬ ‭NKJV‬

She just touched the hem of His garment and was healed at that moment.

For years I walked in worry and shame from my past that ended up resulting in panic attacks. At times I would grab my kids out of my buggy at Walmart, leave my groceries and run out for fear of having a panic attack. It was awful. I thought I was crazy, I didn’t know what was happening to me. This went on for probably three years. I tried anxiety medication, knowing this wasn’t the answer, that didn’t stop what I was feeling. One day out of desperation I grabbed a Bible a sweet friend had gotten me and started reading it. Every day I was desperate to read, learn and get in His presence. I searched the scriptures and over time I began to understand. His Word was healing for my mind and body. I was delivered of those panic attacks. I never had another one! I learned who He says I am, that was healing. I just got to the mere edges and received healing. I didn’t have the understanding that I have now, all these years later but all I needed was to just get to Jesus. He did a work in me that I’ve never forgotten. A work in me that changed me forever. I was healed, delivered and made whole instantly by His presence.
