Counting my blessings….Thankful this Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving has been different than any other. This thanksgiving I’ve really sat and thought about truly what is important. I feel blessed to have family to see and spend time with them on Thanksgiving. Family has always been important to me but loosing three very important people in our lives over the past two years has really put into perspective that each holiday spent together is a blessing. I don’t want to take for granted that another Thanksgiving will come around. As my kids get older I realize how time flies by, so I enjoy spending every minute I can with them. I truly believe each person God brings into our lives is a blessing. If God has blessed you with family, spend time with them, love them and count each one as a blessing. If God has blessed you with good friends, thank Him because each person is a blessing.

Love my family.

Listening and taking in his wise words on his last Thanksgiving.

A beautiful soul that I’m so thankful for. She taught so many how to love & serve Jesus by example. She is now face to face with Him.

Thankful we were able to have his last Thanksgiving with all his kids and grandkids with him.

Many blessings to be thankful for.

Today at church pastor talked about being content with what we have. If we have Jesus then that’s enough, isn’t that the truth? Jesus is enough and everything else is a added bonus. Family is a bonus, friends are a bonus, a warm home is a bonus, we could go on and on. If we truly think about it, we are all blessed. So this holiday season count your blessings, spend time with family and cherish each one.

Thank you Lord for sending your son for us, for the privilege of being called your child. Thank you for the blessing of family. Lord, help us not take a moment for granted this holiday season remembering our many blessings.

In Jesus Name,

Amen

❤️ Michelle
