Who would give up their life for us. Thinking about today and the days leading up to today. We as parents say we would give our lives for our kids but imagine knowing the day is drawing near and the road would be brutal, could we really? I can’t imagine what Jesus felt.
The Bible says, “And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.” Luke 22:44
It was agony. Agony means extreme physical or mental suffering. It was an extreme sacrifice He made. He denied Himself and walked that road to crucifixion. It took a great love to make that sacrifice. His sacrifice equals our blessings!
For us to see Heaven, He had to sacrifice.
For us to be forgiven, He had to sacrifice.
For us to see miracles of healings, deliverance & freedom, He had to walk this road.
For us to experience the power of the Holy Spirit, He had to deny Himself.
For us to experience blessing, He had to sacrifice.
Every blessing and every miracle matches the means it took to get it!
The means is Jesus! His blood shed! We receive every blessing and miracle because of His shed blood, His sacrifice.
Jesus deserves every blessing we get but He passed that on to us through His blood!
I pray this Easter we decide to make His sacrifice & crucifixion mean something. It should make us deny ourselves as He did. Deny sin and flesh for more of His Spirit. He didn’t die for us to live in sin, He died for us to be free from the bondage of sin.
Think about the road He walked and the road we walk. We are walking in blessing because of Him!
Hallelujah! What an amazing love🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Praying this Easter more come to truly understand the sacrifice He made!
