Studying the life of Elisha this morning but it’s his death that I keep thinking about. After Elisha died and was buried some men came by and threw a dead corpse in his tomb, this dead man miraculously came back to life! The body touched Elisha’s bones and was revived!!

“Once when some Israelites were burying a man, they spied a band of these raiders. So they hastily threw the corpse into the tomb of Elisha and fled. But as soon as the body touched Elisha’s bones, the dead man revived and jumped to his feet!”
‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭13:21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The anointing of Elisha was even in his bones. The anointing is what makes the difference.
Have you ever heard your mom say, who you run with matters? Well, obviously it does. Just because of who this dead body was around brought life back to him. We can be so down at times but then get around someone that speaks truth to us and prays with us, that we feel revived after. We can go to church and leave revived. This world is in need of revival. People’s life need revived.
We need to place ourselves around people with the anointing. We need to place ourselves in a church that has the anointing. How do you know if they have the anointing? Look at the fruit. Is a persons life producing good spiritual fruit? Are lives being changed in the church, are people getting saved?

There’s nothing that God can’t revive!
Maybe you just need to get around some anointing. Elisha studied under Elijah, he got around the anointing.
If you want to be anointed, get around someone anointed.
Who we are friends with matters.
Who we learn from matters.
Who we look up to matters.
Who we allow to have influence in our kids lives matters.
Who we allow to speak into our lives matters.

In these last days it is going to matter. I want to be around some prayer warriors, some people that know The Word, some people who have a fierce faith that know God can still do the miraculous!
We need more of Jesus and His anointing!
Even after Elisha was gone, people were still affected. After we are gone will our faith and anointing still be touching people’s lives?
I want the anointing down into my bones like Elisha! Praying today this world desires more of Jesus and His anointing in their lives!
