When studying Paul’s life, he had a fierce intensity to do whatever he did. He fiercely persecuted Christians in his early life but when His eyes were opened he fiercely took the gospel and shared it wherever he went. He convinced gentiles they were accepted and lead so many to the truth.
What do we have a fierce intensity to do?
After our eyes are opened, Paul is our example, we should be taking the gospel to everyone we can. Telling everyone this is for you, even if you feel like a gentile, a outcast. Paul’s personal encounter with Jesus changed his life, he was never the same again. This is us, upon salvation, we are a new creation, a changed life, never the same again.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” II Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
This change should bring about a desire to share what we have experienced with everyone around us. Are lives being changed because of our lives? Are we sharing the gospel? What could be more important than seeing lives radically changed, more people living for God and heaven bound. I would say, if there’s anything more important to us then we must examine our hearts and pray search me, oh God, Psalm 139:23. Create in me a clean heart, renew a steadfast spirit within me, Psalm 51:10.
The kingdom of God is near and we must tell as many as possible. The truth is, everyone we know is not going to heaven. The Word is clear.
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV
This must become reality to us so that we see the importance of how we live, how we are leading others and what our goal in life is.
Praying this morning, give us a fierce intensity to share the gospel with all that we encounter. Praying lives are radically changed for Christ because of the way we live and share the gospel of Jesus!
He radically changed Paul, He has changed me, He can change anybody! 🙌🏻
“I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.”
Ephesians 1:18-20 NLT
