“Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?””

If you read in Matthew 24 you will see that it sounds like we are living in those times, the end times. The first thing Jesus told them was, “Don’t let anyone mislead you.”

Many are going to be so easily led astray simply because of the lack of biblical knowledge. We’ve got to know His Word to guide our lives. We can no longer take other people’s word for The Word. It says there will be many false prophets who will lead many people astray in those times. There are false preachers teaching a watered down word that are leading people astray right now. They are teaching a word that is pleasing to the ear and doesn’t step on anybody’s toes or offend anyone. The Bible also says, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” ‭‭(II Timothy‬ ‭4:3-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬).
Have we turned our ear from truth?
We need a hunger and thirst for God and His Word again. We need revival in the churches. It’s got to start in the church. We can’t reach the unsaved if we ourselves are deceived, we will just lead them astray with us.
We must be ready for His return, it could be today! What will He find us doing when He returns? It matters. In verse 13 it says, “But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” Matthew‬ ‭24:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
This means some will not endure to the end. They will be led astray. We must see the high call as Christians to be a living example to others, to be burdened for the lost and those being led astray. We must be people who know God and His Word more and more everyday. Momma and daddy we must teach our kids Truth. Lead in your home with The Word. Stand firm to His truth over anything of this world. It’s what matters and will make the difference in your kids lives.
I pray our churches get back to preaching the entirety of the Bible, that people would desire sound doctrine again. There is a time coming that those that know Him will be called up with Him and it just might be soon. We must be ready!
