I Corinthians 14:1 NKJV

What if we all began to pray……Lord, I eagerly desire spiritual gifts.

Do we desire more spiritual gifts or are we satisfied where we are?

God wants us walking in more gifting. Why? So we can reach more for the Kingdom. Our goal is not to just be saved. Our goal after salvation is to spread the gospel with as many as possible. Are we effectively spreading the gospel? Studies predict that by 2070 less than 50% of people will profess to be Christians. Christianity looks as though it is steadily loosing ground, this country was founded on Christianity, it’s imperative we see the importance of being what and who God calls us to be. This is going to take us digging into God’s Word, letting it transform us and grow us so we can be more effective and reach more people.

What if God calls you prophesy? What if God calls you to teach? What if God calls you to……fill in the blank….are you willing? It may be uncomfortable at times, are we willing to be uncomfortable for Jesus and the cause? We’ve got to be willing to be inconvenienced for the gospel again.

Lord, forgive me for wanting a convenient faith. I’m ready to be outside my comfort zone and convenience. I’m ready for more!

Lord, give us more!

I think if we all pray this prayer an awakening could happen. Who knows what God might do in you! Pray this with me today!
