The Bible says , “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” II Timothy‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I’ve personally lived in fear. Not the healthy fear of God, reverence for God, but the fear of this world. It was debilitating. I got to the point I didn’t want to leave my house. I would have panic attacks when I did. I just wanted to stay in my safe place at home. This was my sign that this was from the enemy, he wanted me isolated at home alone. So many times you can’t see it for what it is when your on the midst of it but isolation is your sign this is from the enemy. We are more vulnerable alone. I know there are many who currently face this. Be encouraged, I’m living proof that God’s Word will deliver you of your fears. I tried the worlds ways and I tried God’s way. God’s way worked. That was probably 20 years ago and His Word is still working in me.

“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

You’ve got to fight this battle with the Word, your sword. This fear you have is lying to you. You do not have to be fearful. Over and over we can read promises from God and it will calm those fears.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”” Psalms‬ ‭91:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:9-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.” Psalms‬ ‭91:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Read the entire chapter of Psalm 91 every day. Remind yourself, God did not give me a spirit of fear. Command that fear to leave in Jesus Name. Let the peace of God pour over you. Find scriptures to cling to, believe them and you will begin to see that fear leave you.

“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” Isaiah‬ ‭41:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.” I John‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.”” Luke‬ ‭8:50‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There are many more scriptures you can find. Get your sword out and begin to use it against the enemy.
