“Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.”

Satan has come to steal, kill and destroy. One way he can do that is by division. The Word says, a house divided will not stand.

Satan began breaking down the home and marriages long ago and we are seeing fully the repercussions.

We need unity in our homes again.
The Word says don’t let the sun go down on your anger. God is trying to keep us unified and not divided. The longer I stay mad, I stew on it, the bigger it gets in my mind and the madder I get which causes me to pull away from my spouse. My house begins to divide.

Unity between spouses doesn’t come from trips we take, things we buy each other or fancy dinners, although all are nice. Unity comes from spending time in prayer for that spouse, praying with your spouse, serving the Lord together, praising together, talking & navigating through tough times together, these bring true unity. If you’re at a place in your marriage that your spouse will not do those things then you fervently, every day, pray for your spouse and you can watch as God will begin bringing unity.

God’s design was for us to walk in unity with Him, our marriage is supposed to mirror this. Unity with each other and with God.
Our kids need to see husbands and wives unified, dads and moms on the same page, a man and a woman that bring the balance of tough love and a soft place to fall.

If there’s division in your home, recognize what it is, it’s the enemy bringing division. Come against him in prayer.
